Under the direction of Anita Kummer\, participants will learn key proportions\, tonal values\, and brush strokes for creating an expressive portrait.\nInstruction is geared for painters just entering this challenging field of art. Class size is limited to ensure each student will receive personal attention. Each student will complete a painting to keep and show off to family and friends.\nThe instructor will provide one 14X11” stretched canvas for each student. No prior experience is needed\, just enthusiasm\, and a willingness to try something new. All supplies needed to create a piece of art will be provided. There will be several design patterns to choose from\, and a  selection of colored glass. Students will learn how to cut glass\, apply the copper foil\, and solder it all together.
