The monthly Arts Center smorgasbord classes allow participants to try out different mediums at affordable prices. In October’s smorgasbord class, professional photographer Jack Retterer will teach students how to photograph artwork with a simple setup, no fancy gear or experience necessary! Students will learn how to set up a camera or smartphone, using natural light or inexpensive lights to photograph artwork, and edit the photographs. Expected results from this class will be high-quality, color-balanced photographs of artwork that can be posted to social media, used to build a website, make prints, or sell online. This class is for anyone who needs high-quality photographs of their creative artwork. Participants are to bring a smart phone or camera to the class.
