Call for Artists! Rules for Submissions to the Art Guild’s 16th Annual Judged & Juried Open Show

This popular and prestigious show is now held in April! Don’t miss this once a year opportunity to participate the in Annual Judged & Juried Open Show at the Plateau Creative Arts Center! The Art Guild at Fairfield Glade is pleased to extend an invitation to both members and non-members. This year’s judge and jurist is Bryan Wilkerson, a Tennessee native and Professor of Art and Design at Roane State Community College.
All artists, 18 and older, are eligible to enter their original art created within the last two years into this show. Paintings and drawings on paper and canvas, mixed media, photography, 3-D artwork (fiber, glass, metal, wood), jewelry and pottery, are eligible.
The show will run from April 4 to May 1, 2025.The Opening reception and Awards Ceremony will be Friday, April 4 th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, with the awards ceremony at 5:30 p.m. Cash prizes will be awarded for Best of Show ($500.00), 1st Place ($300.00), 2nd Place ($200.00) and 3rd Place ($150.00); additional awards will be available. Cash prizes and ribbons will be awarded at the sole discretion of the show judge. All selected artworks will compete for these prizes. Reception sponsor is

Important dates
March 24, 2025: Last day to register for this show.
Tuesday, April 1. Deliver artwork and sign a completed release form.
Thursday, April 3. Pick up art work that is not juried into the show. You will be notified by phone.
Thursday, May 1. Pick up artwork that has not sold.
The Art Guild will not be responsible for artwork left after these dates.
