Life drawing is one of the best ways for artists to improve their drawing skills; it enhances hand-eye coordination and activates the right side of the brain. Life drawing sessions at the Plateau Creative Arts Center are not classes, everyone works independently. A different model is provided each month. Many of the participants focus on portraiture while others want to compose a drawing of the entire figure. If an artist would like help with their drawing, Dena or another artist is happy to provide assistance. “Life drawing sessions are very supportive and we learn from one another. It’s a good time!”
