Have you ever wanted to try decorating Easter eggs utilizing old world techniques passed down through generations? Donna Cronce will take you through the egg preparation, tools and techniques, dyeing process, and hands-on practice. She will also show you some special Lithuanian Easter egg games that are her family’s favorites. You’ll be able to bring home your beautifully decorated eggs, which are sure to impress your family and add a special touch to your Easter celebrations.
Donna has been decorating eggs in this Old World tradition since she was a young child. Her parents immigrated to America after WWII as young children. Her parents met while singing for a Lithuanian Opera Company in Marquette Park, Illinois – a suburb of Chicago. Donna was raised in both cultures, Lithuanian and American. She still loves cooking authentic Lithuanian dishes and observing Lithuanian traditions during Easter and Christmas.
