Paint an abstract sunrise over an evergreen forest with instructor Anita Kummer. The demonstration will include step-by-step directions on how to create this bold landscape. Focusing on color mixing and blending, students will create an 11” x 14” painting on stretched canvas. Each student will receive plenty of personal attention. Some experience with painting is preferred but not necessary. Participants may bring their own paint supplies or use those provided by the instructor.
For Participants Bringing Their Own Supplies:
white, yellow, red and blue oil paints (green and black are optional)
1 medium and 1 small brush (such as ½” or ¾” flat and a fine brush for detail)
ruler or straight edge
small painting knife
paper towels
paint medium & thinner
palette
