April’s Fun and Wine Opening Reception

The Art Guild at Fairfield Glade will announce the winning entries of the annual Members’ Judged Show during the Fun and Wine Opening Reception at the Plateau Creative Arts Center on Friday, April 5 from 5-7 p.m. Eye Centers of Tennessee, a long-time supporter of the Arts Center is once again sponsoring the show and providing the monetary awards. Ribbons for the award recipients are created by Art Guild members. The judging panel will include both current and former Art Guild members, Beverly Olin, John Genetempo, and Donna Slinkard. This event is free and open to the public. 

The Member’s Judged Show collection will be on display April 5 – May 2. This show is a favorite event for members, supporters of the arts, and visitors to the beautiful Plateau Creative Arts Center. The Art Guild encourages artists to work in the mediums that nurture their creativity, so visitors will enjoy a wide variety of art styles, colors, shapes, interpretations and textures, as well as two-dimensional and three-dimensional pieces.

While at the Arts Center be sure to stop at the Endless Possibilities, Fine Arts and Crafts Shop where Art Guild members display their work for purchase, including a wide variety of creative items such as greeting cards, jewelry, leather goods, and ceramics.

The Plateau Creative Arts Center is located at 451 Lakeview Drive, Fairfield Glade, TN 38558, near Druid Hills Golf Course and is open Monday-Saturday, 9:00 – 4:00 pm.
