Smorgasbord Class: Permanent Markers on Fabric

The Plateau Creative Arts Center is glad to announce that we are offering a new introductory class. Our member, Cheryl Adlerman, will be showing students a fun technique using permanent markers on fabric.  This technique starts with marks on fabric that bloom into beautiful circles and the results can only be partially anticipated.  Happy accidents and surprises abound.  This is a great technique to share with children or grandchildren.

The instructor is providing markers and cotton fabric for this project.  Participants are welcome to bring a t-shirt, baby onesie, or other garment if desired, as well as personal Sharpies. (Optimal garment should be white, cotton, or cotton/poly blend, woven or fine knit like a t-shirt).  Isopropyl alcohol will be used with ventilation.

The class is on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

The cost is $25 for Art Guild members and $30 for non-members.
