Thanks to the Volunteer Energy Cooperative (VEC) Customer Shares Program, thousands of dollars are returned to non-profit organizations such as  The Art Guild at Fairfield Glade by the VEC each year.    It’s simply a matter of each one of us as a customer of the Volunteer Energy Cooperative signing up to participate in the program so that the VEC is able to replenish the funds they disperse.  Go to the VEC web and learn more about the Customer Shares Program.

How do you sign up?   First of all, look at your current, most recent statement.    In about the middle of the page on the left-hand side under the heading ‘Service’ you will see the words ‘VECUSTOMERS SHARE’ if you are already a participating member of the program. And if you are, you are already helping The Art Guild and many other worthy non-profits in our community.

If you are not signed up, please call the Volunteer Energy Cooperative Crossville area Call Center at 931-484-3527, and they will assist you to enroll. It’s as easy as that!

Once you enroll, your monthly bill will be rounded up to the next dollar,  and those additional pennies that you pay are donated to the Customer Shares account.    When more of us donate in this small way, the VEC has more available to donate back to organizations, such as The Art Guild at Fairfield Glade,  when we submit grant applications.
