There is almost no drawing in this scene. Design and values are used to create an interesting subject. This painting is all about light travelling across the canvas. Light bouncing off the clouds, the foam on the breaking waves, reflecting off the beach and dancing through the beach grass. Light, delicate shadows help us feel the brilliant sun of this morning at the beach. This class is for intermediate watercolor students, and students are to bring their own supplies.
