The gift shop offers a variety of unique, hand-crafted artwork including seasonal items. Our winter hours are from 10 AM to 2 PM, giving you ample time to explore our charming little shop.
The public is invited to attend the Plateau Creative Arts Center Gallery’s First Friday on Friday, February 7 from 5-7 PM. Art Guild members will create their interpretations of fabulous faces. Also, special guest exhibit featuring the works of "Three Dames"
Plates to Pendants will teach the art of repurposing delicate, broken and unused china into beautiful brooches, necklaces, earrings and pins. Perfect for the beginner or seasoned crafters alike.
Students will learn how to shape pieces of copper by cutting, hammering, stamping, or embossing to make a pair of earrings.
Join Kathy and other artists at the Plateau Creative Arts Center’s Gallery First Friday reception held on March 7 from 5-7 PM. Gallery First Friday is a great opportunity to meet artists and enjoy a glass of wine or nonalcoholic beverages. The reception is free and open to the public.
Students will create stunning, one-of-a-kind mosaic art using colorful tiles, glass, and
repurposed materials
In this class students will paint a meadow among rolling hills with
spring wildflowers blooming in the foreground. This class is geared towards intermediate
watercolorists who want to further their skills in this area.
Students will learn how to make a chain maille bracelet using jump
rings and beading paraphernalia.
In this class students will learn to create unique art pieces by using repurposed materials like
reclaimed glass, broken mirrors, and other upcycled items.
All artists are encouraged to enter the Open Show. The public is invited to attend the 16th Annual Judged and Juried Open Show on April 4 through May 1, 2025.
Art in the Park will be held on June 21st and 22nd in Fairfield Glade at the Square and at Village Green Mall. You will find fine arts and crafts, as well as food vendors and live music.
